On June 26, a speech contest themed "Red Memories · Radiance over the Borderland" was grandly held at the Tourist Information Service Center of Wudalianchi Global Geopark. This event aimed to review the revolutionary history, cherish the heroic feats, carry forward the red heritage, and inspire the fighting spirit of Party members and cadres across the region to build a better homeland.

A total of 14 contestants from various grass-roots Party committees in Wudalianchi gathered to compete fiercely. With heartfelt speech titles including Loyal Souls Forged in the White Mountains and Black Waters, Red Glory on the Borderland Soil, Hearing the Echoes of History on Wudalianchi’s Lava Beds, The Eternal Coordinates of the Red Frontier and Following the Footsteps of Predecessors, Carrying Forward the Dreams of the Era, they vividly recounted the red stories of the borderland. The contestants fondly looked back on the heroic epic of soldiers and civilians guarding the homeland with their blood during the revolutionary war years, vividly told the touching stories of borderland people rooting themselves in the land and making selfless contributions in peacetime, and further demonstrated the vigorous momentum of borderland development in the new era by combining their own practices in rural revitalization, ethnic unity and other work. Their faith-filled narratives delivered a soul-stirring spiritual baptism to the audience present, winning waves of enthusiastic applause.

After intense competition, Wang Wencui claimed the championship with outstanding performance; Geng Ying, Jia Xiuhua and Ding Jie (from the Party Committee of the Taxation Bureau) won the second prizes. Principal responsible persons of various departments presented honorary certificates and prizes to the winning contestants.
