From June 10th to 12th, at the invitation of Hebei Provincial Tourism Development Committee, the Tourist Bureau of Wudalianchi Global Geopark attended the first China(Hebei) Health Tourism Conference in Yiling Health Center, Shijiazhuang City. During the conference, there are Health Tourism Seminar themed on “Tourism Promotes Health”, Health Tourism Product Introduction Meeting, China Health Tourism Promotion Association Opening Ceremony and Health Tourism Products Trade Fair. Li Hongguang, the director of the Tourist Bureau of Wudalianchi Global Geopark, gave an excellent presentation themed on “China Wudalianchi-a great tourist destination for healthcare ” in health tourism product introduction meeting. He completely introduced Wudalianchi’s healthcare measures including volcanic magnetic field, special medical spring water, rare geological landscapes and resources and series of healthy food which is made from mineral spring water, ect.. After his introduction, many health care institutions and tourist enterprise expressed a great deal of interest in Wudalianchi’s volcanic recourses, mineral spring water and other health tourism products. During the conference, Wudalianchi Global Geopark, Hebei Yiling Health Center, Hunan Huitang Hot Spring, Guizhou Chishui and Jiangsu Taizhou initiated and established China(Shijiazhuang City) Health Tourism Promotion Association and released China Health Tourism Development Conesus. The association members hope to integrate tourism, healthcare, investment and recreation industry to make different social resources into health tourist products and let tourists to enjoy multi-perspective and multi-level health tourism lifestyle. Li Hongguang also made a keynote speech in Health Tourism Seminar and have a wide discussion with domestic and foreign experts, scholars and entrepreneurs about industrial linkage, project investment and financing and brand building.
