    Common bat (scientific name: Vespertilio murinus Linnaeus), also known as two-color bat, bat, and frost bat. Ordinary bats are medium and small in size, with nearly black hair on the back of the body, lighter color on the sides, chest and abdomen, and a short skull.
    Ordinary bats often live together with other types of bats, resting during the day, and in the morning and twilight, they go out from their habitats one after another to hunt for food such as mosquitoes, stone moths and moths. The fecundity of ordinary bats is not high. Generally, they give birth in June in summer, with 2 cubs per litter and 1 cub occasionally. The habitat of common bats is diverse, including tree caves, rock cracks, attic, under eaves, ancient buildings and other places.

    Common bats have been included in the "World Conservation Union" (IUCN) 2008 Red List of Endangered Species.
