Streptopelia orientalis (scientific name: Streptopelia orientalis) is a bird belonging to the genus Streptopelia, Doveidae, with 6 subspecies. The body length is about 32 cm, the mouth and claws are straight or slightly curved, the base of the mouth is soft, covered with cere, and the mouth is enlarged and horny; the neck and feet are short, and the shins are all feathered. The upper body of the dark scallop scallop striated body has a brown feather margin, gray waist, nearly black tail feathers, and light gray tail tips. The lower body is mostly pink with red feet. There is a high-frequency "poof" sound during takeoff. Activities in pairs or alone, mostly in open farming areas, villages and houses in front of and behind houses, around temples, or near small ditches, feeding on the ground. The food is mostly grains with grains. Distributed in the Himalayas, India, Northeast Asia, Japan, Mainland China and Taiwan. Northern birds go south to live through the winter.
