Water lily (scientific name: Nymphaea L.), a perennial aquatic herb; thick rhizome. The petiole is cylindrical and slender. The leaves are oval, floating on the surface of the water, the surface of the leaf is dark green, and the back is dark purple. Born in still water bodies such as ponds and lakes. Many parks are cultivated in water bodies as ornamental plants. The rhizomes are used for edible or wine-making, and are used as medicine to cure chronic convulsions in children. The whole grass can be used as green manure.
