Wudalianchi Global Geopark has a continental monsoon climate with severe cold and long winters and cool and short summers. According to data from the Meteorological Department, the average temperature in Wudalianchi area is 0.5℃, the lowest temperature is in January, and the monthly average lowest temperature is -24℃; the highest temperature is in July, and the monthly average highest temperature is 21.1℃. The average rainfall is 514.3 mm, and the rainy season is generally concentrated in June to August. The average evaporation is 1217.9 mm, and the average relative humidity is 69.2%. There are many northwest winds throughout the year. The freezing period is from early October to early May of the following year, the frost-free period is 121 days, and the maximum freezing depth is 2.47 meters.From June to September each year, Wudalianchi has high temperature during the day, cool nights, and pleasant climate. It is the most suitable summer season and is the best season and best place for vacation, tourism, and recuperation.
