To improve the environmental protection idea and disseminate geo-education knowledge, a series of education activities themed at Cherish natural resources and protect beautiful land was jointly held by Land and Resources Bureau, Education Bureau and Volcanic Museum in Wudalianchi UGGp.

In the morning of April 20, an exhibition was displayed in the First Elementary School. The exhibition including five contents introduced the strategy of national land and resources, the concept of geo-science, the knowledge of geo-education, as well as the knowledge of low-carbon environmental protection.

Rock mini classroom in the Volcanic Museum opened to the public.Education Bureau and Volcanic Museum cooperated to bring forth new ideas of teaching models and organize educational activities after class in new pattern.

The guides introduced volcanic knowledge including volcanic eruption, the formation of geological landscape, as well as the evolutionary process of volcanic ecology system. Students made volcano models and did experiment of volcanic eruption by themselves under the instruction of museum guides.

3D animation was a new type of teaching pattern. Volcanoes erupted in the silent ground, all things turned dust and ashes, and lichen and wood grew. Students could feel that all things happened around them.
