On 24 April, Wudalianchi UGGp signed an agreement with Earth Science Popularization League of College Students in Beijing. Wudalianchi UGGp was accredited as the first batch of education base for its unique volcanic landscape and rare mineral springs. Wudalianchi UGGp is named natural volcanic museum and an opening textbook on volcanoes. It makes great contributions to the development of scientific research activities and the dissemination of earth knowledge.
Wudalianchi was listed into the first batch of volcanic global geopark in 2004. It was awarded as the first batch of National Science Popularization Base for Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction in 2005 and the first batch of Science Popularization Base in 2009, as well as the first batch of Research and Education Base for primary and secondary students in 2017. Wudalianchi UGGp will play an more important role in the education activities.
