May 12 is the 14th Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day in China. Volcano and Earthquake Monitoring Center, Forestry Office, Police Office and Firefighting Brigade jointly carried out disaster prevention and mitigation activities so that the public can raise their awareness in disaster prevention and their ability of self rescue.
