Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark associating with other 21 geoparks in China held activities to celebrate the 53rd World Earth Day, the 3rd Asia-Pacific Geopark Week and Interaction Among Sister Geoparks on April 22, 2022. The events present the public plenty of geology and geomorphology, ecology and other science knowledge.
With the theme of “Invest in our Planet”the events include 22 geoparks from northeastern, northwestern, southwestern, southern and central China.
As the northernmost Global Geopark in China, Wudalianchi held many online and offline activities such as broadcasting science video, online science class, online science Q&A, science knowledge going into schools, online exhibition, sale of local products and photography competition.Wudalianchi also prepared tickets and Chinese medicine sachets as prize for online science Q&A.
