Since 2009, Wudalianchi Global Geopark invited the famous geologist, Prof. Tao Kuiyuan, to visit Wudalianchi three times, in order to design a Wudalianchi interpretation system. On July 27th Prof. Tao Kuiyuan led a geological expert group through Wudalianchi and started their fieldwork, then fully displayed their achievements on the Wudalianchi Global Geopark Commentary Planning Project.
The Wudalianchi Global Geopark Commentary Planning Project designed by Prof. Tao Kuiyuan includes bilingual (Chinese-English) outdoor commentary displays, manuscript draft of “Walk into Wudalianchi” Travel Guide, and “Volcanic Rock Landform Knowledge”.
