On 1 March, college students from Peking University came to Wudalianchi UGGp to carry out geotourism practice research on one belt and one road by field visit, panel discussion and questionnaire.

They visited Volcanic Museum, Laohei Volcano, Longmen Stone Village and Crystal Cave (lava tunnel). From professional prospective, they gave suggestions on volcanic landscape, digital monitoring system and interpretation system.

In the Museum, they knew the history and culture of Wudalianchi UGGp, as well as current situation and future plan. They also exchanged views on the construction and functions of new Museum with the curator.

These students were impressed by the well-preserved volcanic landscape, rich winter tourism resources and charming scenery. Geopark staff also told them some folklore and customs of the Geopark which stimulated them to research local special customs and promote the Geopark to create the interest of cultural brand.

The study group drank different types of mineral water in South Spring, North Spring and Erlongyan Spring. They came to Xianchi Mineral Spring Limited Corporation and visited product lines. Meanwhile, they talked with the manager to know the business model, marketing methods and development scale.

On 3 March, they gave an interesting lesson for students in the Middle High School and shared their learning experiences. During the study research, the leader of Earth and Space College of Peking University discussed with the Geopark staff to built Geoscience Practice Base.
