On 27 March, tourism service training which aimed at enhancing the service quality of tourism staff and integrating tourism environment was held at Visitor Information Service Center in Wudalianchi UGGp. The training was jointly held by Wudalianchi UGGp Administration Committee and Tourism Training Center of Heilongjiang Province. Over 300 people from tourism agencies, tour guides and staff working in scenic areas participated in the training.
The director of Tourism Bureau said that the training was important for promoting the tourism industry development of Wudalianchi UGGp and accelerating the construction of international resort area. We must focus on the instruction of tourism staff and building the system of training and performance appraisal to enhance the service standard.
The training would last for 3 days. The training contents included geopark knowledge, tourism service standard, guide regulations and first aid knowledge. Tourism Bureau and Scenic Area administration Bureau would organize capability examination after the training.
