On January 25, 2026, under the overall organization of the Administrative Committee of Wudalianchi Scenic Area, the College Student Volunteer Service Corps of Wudalianchi Global Geopark, composed of students from universities in Beijing, went deep into local communities. Focusing on the hot issues of concern to residents, the corps launched a rich and innovative science popularization campaign centered on "Climate Change Response" and "Local Mineralogy Knowledge". The activity not only delivered accessible scientific knowledge to residents, but also effectively raised their awareness of the precious geological heritage beneath their feet and their sense of guardianship, truly bringing science popularization into daily life and rooting it in the people's hearts.

In the morning, the volunteer service corps kicked off the activity in Mingzhen Community, elaborately designing two themed sessions: "Climate Change Response Knowledge Quiz" and "Environmental Protection Legal Popularization Theater". Giving full play to their professional strengths, the volunteers transformed rigorous scientific knowledge into engaging forms such as interesting quizzes and vivid situational plays that are popular among the public.
