On January 17, the eve of the Spring Festival, the event themed "Singing Praises to the Nation and Home, Welcoming the Spring Festival with Blessings"—Ink-Fragranced Spring Festival Couplets Enter Thousands of Households—kicked off in the hall on the first floor of the Tourist Information Service Center, hosted by Wudalianchi Global Geopark. With traditional couplet culture as the carrier, the event ingeniously integrated the volcanic holy water culture and integrity-themed elements, drawing the attention of a large number of officials and staff who stopped to appreciate the exhibits, thus creating a unique cultural highlight ahead of the Spring Festival.

A total of 60 couplets, created by calligraphy enthusiasts from the Heihe Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Wudalianchi Global Geopark, were on display in two exhibition areas.

The integrity couplet exhibition area, themed "Fresh Breeze Writes the Flavor of the New Year, Integrity Honors Wudalianchi", featured neatly hung couplets with precise antitheses and profound implications, exuding a rich aroma of ink. With brushes as their "swords" and couplets as their voice, the creators expressed their profound understanding of integrity culture and firm opposition to corruption through diverse artistic expressions and unique perspectives.

In the Spring Festival couplet exhibition area, themed "Singing Praises to the Homeland, Welcoming the Spring Festival with Blessings", the four-season beauty of Wudalianchi Global Geopark vividly unfolded on the paper, and Spring Festival blessings permeated the air along with the ink fragrance. Each couplet, eulogizing the scenic area and the new era, embodied the deep love and sincere wishes of the local people for their hometown.

These couplets not only showcased the charm of calligraphy art but also conveyed heartfelt New Year blessings in a subtle way. While appreciating the artistic beauty, visitors also received a profound education on integrity.
Gao Xiaomei, Deputy Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Wudalianchi, stated: "This year marks the first Spring Festival since China’s traditional Spring Festival was inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Taking this important festive opportunity, we spread and promote integrity culture through the vivid form of a couplet exhibition, giving full play to the educational, guiding and edifying role of integrity culture, so as to root the concept of integrity in people’s hearts."
Li Siyu, a clerk of Wudalianchi Town, commented: "This innovative and meaningful approach integrates volcanic holy water culture, integrity education and traditional culture. While enjoying the couplets, we have developed a deeper love for our hometown and a clearer understanding of the importance of integrity and self-discipline, which constantly reminds us to uphold the principle of integrity."
It is learned that after the exhibition, these Spring Festival couplets will be delivered to the heads of 12 administrative units across the region, three villages, three communities, as well as the families of registered poor households and resident representatives.
