The current season is the prime time to admire the volcanic autumn scenery at Wudalianchi Global Geopark. Besides the magnificent volcanic natural landscapes and natural cold mineral springs, what has also impressed numerous non-local tourists is the overall upgrade of the tourism reception environment and the comprehensive support of smart tourism services.

In September this year, with the full completion of the visitor service center renovation project and the official launch of smart tourism service programs, Wudalianchi Global Geopark is embracing the upcoming National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday with a brand-new look and all-new visitor experiences.

Upon entering the main urban area of Wudalianchi Global Geopark, visitors will find three large standardized parking lots at Holy Water Square, South Medicine Spring and Wenbo Scenic Spot, which have been completed and fully opened to the public. The newly renovated visitor service center stands at the core of Holy Water Square, offering comprehensive smart tourism reception services to tourists from home and abroad. 19 brand-new loop buses are neatly parked at the boarding area of the visitor service center, ready to depart.

The official online mini-program "Wudalianchi Tourism" has been fully launched, integrating functions such as scenic spot ticket booking, package ticket recommendations, group ticket distribution, scenic navigation, attraction introductions and travel route suggestions. It also enables online ticketing services, allowing tourists to purchase various types of tickets via the mini-program. After receiving the electronic QR code tickets, tourists can scan the code at the scenic entrance for quick entry, which cuts down on queueing time for ticket purchases and enhances the admission experience. With just a smartphone, tourists can access relevant information about the scenic area anytime and anywhere, and plan their trips in advance.
