On July 16, Wudalianchi Global Geopark conducted cooperation and exchange with the Department of Leisure and Ecotourism of Universiti Putra Malaysia, jointly exploring ways to deepen collaboration in such fields as scientific research, science popularization, training programs and sustainable development.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation in scientific research and science popularization. Wudalianchi Global Geopark looks forward to joining hands with Universiti Putra Malaysia to carry out cutting-edge projects in geological research, ecological environment protection and other areas, so as to further enhance the park’s influence in the international scientific research community. The two parties plan to disseminate the charm of geological science to more people through science popularization lectures, exhibitions, interactive experiences and other forms, and continuously stimulate people’s enthusiasm for nature conservation.
The two sides decided to carry out in-depth cooperation in ecotourism, outdoor recreation, tour guide services and other fields. Universiti Putra Malaysia will tailor-make professional training courses for Wudalianchi Global Geopark and dispatch professional faculty members, so as to comprehensively improve the service quality of the park.
In terms of sustainable development, both sides expressed high expectations. Wudalianchi Global Geopark actively seeks exchanges and cooperation with Malaysian national parks, hoping to draw on their advanced management concepts and practical experience, constantly improve the park’s management system, and promote sustainable development.
