In order to lead social public actively participate in ecological environment protection and create a strong legal atmosphere of the environmental protection in the whole society, on June 5th, Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark carried out environmental protection campaign subjected as “Amazing China, I am a person of action”. The campaign is to lead residents to participate in environmental protection activities, improve their awareness of environmental protection, and create a good atmosphere for the whole society to care, support and participate in environmental protection activities.

    At the event, the working staff introduced the environmental protection knowledge of the energy conservation and emission reduction, air pollution knowledge, soil pollution, prevention and control, etc. through presenting boards and distributing publicity materials, answered and explained the legal issues of environment protection concerned by the public. Everyone was encouraged to take active actions to save energy and electricity, and set up the concept of green consumption.

    Environmental protection needs everyone’s action. In order to win the battle of pollution prevention and control, we should implement the ecological civilization concept of "Harmless nature means endless treasure" with actual actions, and lead the public to actively participate in ecological environmental protection activities, so as to jointly fulfill the responsibility of environmental protection, and contribute to the construction of a beautiful hometown.
