Now, they can also take a helicopter, fly in the sky and overlook this magical land, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Wudalianchi in all directions from 360 degrees.
On the Holy Water Square, the fashionable and exciting low-altitude tour project of Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark has deeply attracted domestic and foreign tourists and helped them realize their dream of appreciating the Wudalianchi at a low altitude. It has also become the coolest way for tourists to visit Wudalianchi. The helicopter circled low between the sky and clouds with passengers on board again and again, became a new beautiful scenery in the sky of the scenic spot.
Taking the helicopter, tourists could overlooking in the low-altitude, the magnificent crater, the vast lava platform, the beautiful quiet dammed lake and the micro-topography formed from the hot lava solidification in the torrential flow, with a panoramic view of all shapes and forms. Tourists can enjoy the unique charm and shock of Wudalianchi from another perspective.

The management committee began to prepare for the low-altitude flight project since May 2016, and invested more than 5 million yuan ac-cumulatively to the Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark General Aviation Project till July, 2017. The purchased an American Robinson R44 helicopter independently, which is a multi-purpose, high-performance helicopter that can be used for medical assistance, search and rescue, air law enforcement, forest protection and fire prevention, passenger transport, aerial photography flight and other purposes. It can flying at a low altitude within 300 meters of the ground in the scenic spot with skill and ease, and can carry 3 tourists at one time. In order to ensure the safety of tourists, the management committee hired pilots who had won awards in the national helicopter competition as captains with rich flying experience of more than 1,000 hours in air tour, emergency rescue, aerial photography, agricultural and forestry spraying, etc.
