To better understand and propagandize hometown, Wudalianchi Scientific Research and Management Center prepare tohold a series of lectures for local residents after looking up a large number of geologicaldata, papers and history-relatedmaterials. There are 17 science lectures for traveling attendants, students, local residents and government officials. On 1stand 8thof April, the commentatorof Wudalianchi Scientific Research and Management Center gave the first science lecture for 500 elementary and middle school students. With the ways of volcanic models,spot experiments, watching films and questions-and-answers, the commentator explained the formation of Wudalianchi’s volcanoes and the valves of mineral spring water for health care. That makes the students know more about Wudalianchi’s geological knowledge. With the start of this lecture,Wudalianchi Scientific Research and Management Centerwill cooperate with local government, EducationBureau, TouristBureau to give more lectures for government offices, elementary and middle school students, tourism industry staff and local residents. Through these lectures, more people would have deeper understanding about Wudalianchi’s geological knowledge so that they can make more contributions for geoparks construction.
