On 27th June, Wang Liying, the officer of Wudalianchi Global Geopark Administration Committee did field inspection with staff of revalidation office and gave advices on the English introduction. According to the eight recommendations given by GGN, Wudalianchi Global Geopark has done a lot of work, including designed the logo and mascots; constructed the primary and secondary steles, 27 light boxes with logo, and 3 sculptures with logo; redesigned the Tourist Center, the Museum, Volcano and Earthquake Disaster Prevention Museum, and the website of the Geopark in Chinese and English version; reconstructed more than 200 science panels; distributed science books to kindergarten; organized various science activities for middle students and science lectures and knowledge contests for local communities; appointed experts home and abroad for the technical support; edited 129 academic papers and journal papers from 2008 to 2013; submitted news to the website of Global Geoparks Network of China; and participated global geoparks activities. The revalidation preparation goes well under the conduct of the Administration Committee.
