In the afternoon, Wudalianchi volcanic geological science knowledge contest was hold in No.2 middle school of Wudalianchi, with its theme as“love home country, love home town”. Students competed in the knowledge including basic geological knowledge of volcanism in Wudalianchi, volcano mineral water culture, and Global Geopark protectionregulations. Through this event, it further promoted the sense of students and teachers for protecting the earth and their hometown, deepened their understanding of the volcanic spring, and inspired their enthusiasm in loving and building their hometown.
At the same time, No.1 middle school of Wudalianchi organized the whole school to have a class meeting with the theme of“love motherland, love hometown”. At the meeting, students studied carefully the origin of the“World Earth Day”and its theme of each year, its slogan and prominent problem of the modern society in environmental protection.They also discussed some hot topics focused on“how to protect our earth, how to love and protect our hometown”.
