The magnificent scenery and volcanoes in Wudalianchi Global Geopark inspired artists creations, has attracted many famous scientists to do research on this rich volcanic land and contribute to cultural prosperity by describing volcanoes and holy water in Wudalianchi. On May 8th, 2012, Yanfang Wang, the founder of the volcano school, successor of Master Baishi Qi, and chairman of the China Innovative Art Publicity Center, formally established Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Wudalianchi Volcano. This is the first art center based on paintings of the volcanic school in Wudalianchi.
