South and North Gelaqiu Mountain is the earliest volcano erupted in Wudalianchi Global Geopark, and Nangelaqiu Mountain is the highest volcano in the park. After the eruption of Nangelaqiu Mountain, a pot-shaped crater with a diameter of 500m was left behind. The periphery of the higher crater is composed of volcanic agglomerated rock. The outer slope of the mountain has a clear concave sheep-tail-shaped shallow groove, which is overlooked from the air. , Very beautiful. The water in the crater forms a heavenly pond. A lake is as transparent as a mirror. The lake water is connected with the underground spring water and is inexhaustible all year round. The deepest reaches 15m. The lake is rich in "inverted scale fish". In summer, mandarin ducks on the lake are in pairs, and frogs are screaming; in winter, more than 30 degrees below zero, the lake will not freeze.

There are few crater lakes in China, the famous Changbai Mountain Tianchi, in addition, Zhanjiang in Guangdong, Aershan in Inner Mongolia, and Tengchong in Yunnan also have crater lakes.

Wooden trails are paved around the Tianchi, which can be viewed near the lake and can be seen from afar.
