Volcanic Growth Rings Ancient lake Shoreline
Volcanic growth rings Ancient lake shoreline
Many things in nature have life rings, and the same goes for volcanoes. The new and old volcanic boundaries are the boundaries that mark the volcanic growth rings. This black volcanic composite soil is the remains of the Bijiashan volcanic eruption that has a history of 280-34 million years ago. Under the cover of the surface soil is a platform formed by an old volcanic eruption, which is geologically called a wave-shaped lava platform. There are many crouching stones produced by geological factors such as glaciers or freezing and thawing on the soil. We can see that the crust-like lava on the right side is formed after the eruption of Heilong Volcano and forcibly invaded and occupied the ancient Udlin huge basin lake. It can be clearly seen that the new stage lava covers the old stage volcanoes and along the lake shoreline. The dividing line on the ancient lake bed topography. Bijiashan belongs to the Late Mid-Platinum volcano, while Heilonshan belongs to the modern Holocene volcano. The young volcanic landform and the weathered old volcanic landform complement each other, like naughty children holding the vicissitudes of the elderly, adding historical vicissitudes to the magnificent volcanic landscape.
Shilong Terrace
With an area of 64 square kilometers, the boundless blue-gray basalt has brought us into an uninhabited state. When Heilong Volcano erupted, large strands of magma roared and poured down like a red dragon along the ancient Udlin Lake bed. There are many branches on the edge of the dragon, forming a small stream of rock. The surface of the rock flow is black and shiny after condensing, like a dragon's scales with cracks. Stepping on it, we seem to feel the residual heat and shape of the hot and viscous magma rushing to the ground. The flames burst forth wildly, and the magma rolled to see the magic. It immediately washed away the appearance of the year and turned the warmth into a dragon. Geologically it’s called a stone dragon-shaped lava flow, it was on the basis of the Japanese scientist Ogura Maki at the beginning of the last century. Local old people called it Heilong Stone . It seems that global geologists also have a soft spot for the legend of the black dragon.
