In recent years, Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark has taken the advantage of the unique resources to integrate the business of cold-area automotive test with the snow-ice industry and developed the test economy at all arounds. It has attracted more and more domestic and foreign automobile enterprises to set up their cold-area test base in Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark. 

    On December 18th, Xiao Kang Group entered into a cooperation agreement with Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark Red Valley Automotive Test Co., Ltd., representing another automobile enterprise formally stationed in the geopark to carry out the competition test.    

    A new car has to pass the test in cold area and highland before being put on the market so as to meet the criteria. When the winter comes, many new model and unlaunched cars will be observed in every streets of Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark. They must be carried out 27 tests including the engine winter calibration, tires and air conditioners.

    With the heating up of the test economy, the catering and hotel industry of Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark also performs well.

    Liu Jianbin, the Manager of the Admin Department of Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark Red Valley Automotive Test Co., LTD., said that every year many domestic enterprises and joint ventures came to the geopark to test cars, such as the south Korean automaker - MOBIS, HYUNDAI; in the peak time, the customer could be up to 1000. Due to the limited reception capability of the subordinate hotel of Red Valley, the catering and hotel industry will be driven along with it which in turn promotes the benefits of local tourism in winter.

    Chang Xiuzhi, the Director of Executive Department of Marriott Hotel, said, " every winter in the past two years, the employees of the automotive test enterprises have become our primary customers. We are run out of available rooms in recent days. “
