On Jan 5^th,2019, the excellent works performance and award ceremony of the China-Russia Teen-age Youths International Dancing Contest “Dancing World, Blossoming Future”, which hosted by Heihe Education Bureau and undertaken by Heihe Russia-China Youth Activity Center, was held in the Friendship Palace. Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark No.1 Primary School sent their competing dance“Volcano Snow Child”to the China-Russia Teen-age Youths International Dancing Contest, which presented a lively and clever performance on the stage.

    The dance team is composed of 23 students from the Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark No.1 Primary School, which was pushed by the Wudalianchi Education Bureau to participate in the China-Russia Teen-age Youths International Dancing Contest “Dancing World, Blossoming Future”. The contest is divided into two parts. Part 1: preliminary round on Jan 4^th, the judges would make on-site scores on the comprehensive performance of the participating dances and select the winning works. Part 2: excellent winner works would be performed on January 5th. In the preliminary round, more than 10 teams from China and Russia "showed their magic powers like amazing fairies", gave wonderful performances and became the winners. Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark No.1 Primary School dance“Volcano Snow Child”stood out from a number of participating teams and was unanimously recognized by both Chinese and Russian judges. The dance and other Russian children dances were performed in the Friendship Palace of Heihe City as excellent winner works on Jan 5^th afternoon.

    The dance "Volcanic Snow Child" integrated Wudalianchi winter features with volcanic culture, showed the representative culture feature of Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark, was full of artistic atmosphere. Young actors presented their passion and enjoyed the dancing process. The integration of Chinese and Russian cultures has been deepened in the art exchange, and the friendship and cultural blend with each other are future deepened at the same time. The Chinese and Russian jury committee highly praised the competition performance of Wudalianchi.

    According to introducing, the excellent works performance  of the China-Russia Teen-age Youths International Dancing Contest, is a section of the 2nd "Ice Silk Road" Far East China-Russian Youth Art Week and a part of the 7th "Winter Rhyme" activity in 2019.
