The Third Cuisine Contest was held by Wudalianchi UNESCO Global Geopark at Rihe Restaurant on 31 May. The Contest aimed at developing local food and cooking art and excavating the culture connotation of cooking. Representatives from 28 Restaurants of the Geopark took part in the Contest.
Mineral spring fish and tofu were the main ingredients of the Contest. Seven gastrologist from Heilongjiang Cooking Association rated for the participants from the color, smell, taste and shape of the cooking.
In the end, Weidangjia Restaurant won the Contest with their cooking named Cold and Jade Fill the Hall. Zhuangyuan Restaurant was the second place, and Wangmaolv Tofu Restaurant was the third winner.
Wudalianchi Cooks Association was founded during the Contest.
