From 9th August, a delegation from Jeju Island, South Korea came to Wudalianchi Global Geopark for visit, including Dr. Kim (Institute of Jeju development), Dr. Lee (chief researcher of Institute of Korea Environment Research), Dr. Jeon who work for Jeju Geopark Team and two Hallailbo journalists, to research the management system in geopark and biosphere reserve.
During the field visit, the Hallailbo journalists had an interview with staff and managers of Wudalianchi. After the inspection, exchange meeting between Wudalianchi and Jeju Island was held at the reception center near the Third Lake. The two sides shared experiences on geo-conservation, biodiversity and development, as well as exchanged ideas on sisterhood relationship in the future.
