From June 10 to 13th,“Geoparks and Science Popularization”was hold in the Wudalianchi Global Geopark. This seminar was hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Land and Resource Department and Wudalianchi Global Geopark, co-organized by Ministry of Land and Resource and National Geopark Network Center.
Proceedings of the seminar were also published and 14 papers were collected from 9 Global Geoparks, 3 experts, one research institution and one college. The papers focus on successful experience in publicity of the science popularization of different Geoparks, and their next step of plan and suggestions for the publicity of the sciencepopularization of the Geopark.
This seminar is a meeting to promote mutual study, mutual advance and progress of Global Geoparks in China, which has laid a solid foundation for the next step of science popularization work of the Global Geopark in future.
