Juglans mandshurica (scientific name: Juglans mandshurica) is a juglans plant in the Juglans family. It is a tree with a height of more than 20 meters; the bark is gray with shallow longitudinal cracks; the young branches are covered with short hairs. Odd-pinnate compound leaves grow up to 80 cm long on the germination strips, bracts apex are obtuse, female spikes have 4-10 female flowers, and female flowers are 5-6 mm long and hairy. The infructescence is about 10-15 cm long and drooping; the fruit is spherical, ovate or elliptical. Flowering in May, fruiting period from August to September.
Distributed in Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei and Shanxi. It is also distributed in northern North Korea. It grows in broad-leaved forests on both sides of valleys or hillsides with thick soil, moist, and well-drained.

The seed oil is edible, and the seed kernels are edible; the wood has low anti-tension and is inflexible and can be used as important materials such as gunstocks, wheels, and buildings. The bark, leaves and exocarp contain tannins, which can be extracted from tannin; the bark fiber can be used as raw materials for paper making; the branches, leaves and bark can be used as pesticides.
